Alec Hershman is a writing instructor, barista, and union organizer living in Michigan. He is the author of two chapbooks, Permanent and Wonderful Storage (Seven Kitchens Press, 2019) and The Egg Goes Under (Seven Kitchens Press, 2017). He has received awards from The Institute for Sustainable Living, Art, and Natural Design, The Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, The St. Louis Regional Arts Commission, and The Jentel Foundation.
